At the end of May of this year I had been going to physical therapy for recurring lower back pain. I knew therapy would be ending but I was not confident that the pain would not return. I started searching for somewhere that would understand my lower back needs and help me strengthen my core for more long term relief. That is when I found Prevention & Performance. I started with a meet and greet with Rob. He understood my needs and was knowledgable. I committed to 1:1 training and have been working with Ian and Chandler for 7 months. That are both great. They have designed a personal program for me-addressing my goals, retraining my core and stressing proper form. They encourage me and push me to do more. Overall, my back is much better- pain free on most days! I am stronger and I am now working to build muscle. I have also managed to lose some weight along the way. In July, I added in some Circuit Training classes with Ian and Rob and more recently started attending Chandler’s Butt and Gut class- all great workouts! I am so pleased to have found Prevention & Performance and plan to continue with this gym for the long term. I highly recommend checking it out.

I've been training with Coach Chandler for 6 months now and our sessions have markedly improved both my physical and mental health. Before I started here I had crippling lower back pain. Since I've been training twice a week the pain has been pretty much non-existent - which I didn't even think was possible. Her workouts are the perfect combination of challenging yet attainable and she's excellent at ensuring you have proper form during your sets. She makes you feel comfortable, is a great motivator, and I always look forward to our sessions. Chandler's seriously a phenomenal trainer and I would recommend anyone to work with her for any fitness goals!!

Prior to signing up here I searched an ungodly amount of time for personal training studios/gyms in the area. I wanted to force myself out of my comfort zone to reverse being overweight, lazy, and in pain. I finally decided on Prevention & Performance and I'm so glad I did. I would chose this place a thousand times over again. Every coach I've interacted with here have all been awesome; Rob immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable from day one during the "meet & greet." I've had the opportunity to train with Mike and Rachel as well, and they were both outstanding coaches. If you're like me 6 months ago and trying to decide if you should take the step to check this place out, please don't hesitate and just do it. Training with Chandler has drastically improved my overall strength and energy levels, among other benefits that I'm discovering each day. I can't thank her and Rob enough for providing an extraordinary personal training experience that has helped in countless areas of my everyday life so far. Joining this studio has been one of the best decisions I ever made.

The coaches here are friendly, inclusive and motivating. As a mom of two young children, I find their group classes easy to fit into my busy and ever-changing schedule. They are wonderful!
